Our production site is ideally located on the edge of a main road (RN12) in North Brittany and covers more than 2 hectares of land. We have 1500 sq. m of warehouse space for wood storage and 4000 sq. m for production. The manufacturing premises are heated and insulated (humidity and temperature monitored continuously).
All our wood comes from Swedish or Finish sawmills. Each truckload of wood is inspected closely. We take one sample per pallet to check the mechanical resistance of the wood (bending tester ULRICH LUBBERT 100 KN). In addition, we always check wood moisture continuously before jointing (Brookhuis moisture meter). The measurements are stored on computer for traceability purposes.
The jointed laminations are transferred automatically to the glue spreader. Glue is applied by a gluing roller powered by two titrimetric pumps which are equipped with alarm systems for the detection of any problems upstream. We currently use resorcinol adhesive and will soon be able to offer a clear glue line.
We make timber frames to order. Our 1500 sq. m of workshop is equipped with 2 x 21 metre bridge cranes and provides us with optimum conditions for cutting the Glulam and loading the trucks.
We make portal frames for our customers with up to 50 m clear span between columns (Mobile Home manufacturing plant in Millau). We have also manufactured shopping centres such as Jardiland Hénin Beaumont, Jardiland Vernouillet, Intermarché Saint-Pierre-Les-Elboeuf, Intermarché Longué Jumelle and Intermarché Pluguffan.
